Our previous piano was going to require tunings more often and potentially expensive repairs. This new piano became available at a very attractive price and in excellent condition. Council agreed to its purchase to ensure years of problem free usage.
We expect the new piano to provide many years of dependable, high-quality service. Its size provides a rich, deep sound while still fitting comfortably on the chancel, making it particularly well suited for use in our large sanctuary.
Funding for this piano includes the sale of our previous piano, a celebratory concert to showcase the new piano (more details soon), general fundraising through directed giving on offering envelopes and the proceeds from the choir’s Christmas Concert this December.
We are very excited about this investment and look forward to the new piano enhancing our worship and contributing to Woodroffe’s future.
